i am a tied-down, 36-year-old who loves life and loves random-ness. i love adventures and can hardly say no to a challenge. i love being alone, and i love meeting new people. i love writing and running and cherry coke zero. i collect dvds and shot glasses. i like to talk, and i think i'm pretty entertaining. i could be way wrong.
at a dinner auction, slices of white and chocolate cake were dessert. there was raspberry salad dressing on the table, too. it looked yummy. so, i poured it on the white cake. it did not taste yummy.
I tried this once but I used Blueberry Balsamic Dressing on top of a Chocolate Cake. It was so miserable but I ate the whole thing and then I complained to the waiter. He said I shouldn't put salad dressing on dessert and that if I didn’t like it I shouldn’t have eaten it. I defended my decision and said I wouldn't have made such a horrible mistake had they provided some kind of topping for the desserts and I said I had to eat it because I thought it might get better, maybe my pallet just needed to get used to the terrible pairing of vinegar and sugar. They asked me to leave but I protested and said I wasn't going to pay for the dinner as a result of their rude behavior and lack of forethought in dessert offerings. Needless to say the night didn't end well but I am glad to know I am not alone. Thank you!
